Research Areas The goal of my research is to increase our understanding of the complex relationship between fat and bone, focusing on predisposing factors such as diet, physical inactivity, metabolic diseases, hormonal imbalances, and genetic influences that are synonymous to both obesity and poor skeletal health. Ultimately, the findings generated from our research will be used to identify and develop interventions for the control of obesity and osteoporosis. |
